The Farmers’ Bank of Rustico

The Farmers’ Bank of Rustico dates back to the mid-1800s and is nationally recognized as the precursor to the Credit Union movement in Canada. In 2013 the bank building was renovated and older exhibits needed to be refreshed. As part of this process, I helped design bilingual displays that include a timeline wall, story graphics, and an interactive banking table. The exhibition also features a variety of artifacts, including personal possessions, original bank notes and a donated coin collection, all of which were carefully integrated into custom-built displays.
This project was designed with Dartmouth-based design firm Form:Media.
